This study examines the influence of cultural tourism on local economic development in Northern Nigeria by analyzing key indicators such as community income, new business opportunities, employment absorption, demand for cultural products, and SME activities. Using a descriptive–quantitative approach supported by survey data from festival participants, local entrepreneurs, and community members, the findings reveal that cultural tourism significantly contributes to economic growth, accounting for 67% of the variation in local economic development. The study concludes that cultural tourism has strong potential as a sustainable development strategy and recommends strengthening infrastructure, improving stakeholder collaboration, and expanding capacity-building initiatives to maximize long-term economic impact
